Social media expert Liz Ryan gives us a refresher course on how to use email and social networks to make the right contacts and land the next job.
Liz says email can be your friend when you're attempting to contact past business associates, but take the time out to make the connection personal.
While Facebook, Myspace, and even Twitter are formatible ways of contacting people, Liz Ryan says LinkedIn is the best way to network online for business. She recommends writing recommendations for others when you're setting up a profile, and asking them to recommend you as well.
Ryan says in this tough economy, a job hunt is a full time venture. You must give it your full attention to be successful.
