The federal government could be a great place to spend time job hunting for both civilians and folks leaving the military. Lily Whiteman is an expert who has been helping both veterans and civilians get jobs with the federal government for years.
"The federal government is a very veteran friendly employer," she said. Whiteman says servicemen and women should begin planning for civilian life as soon as they know they will be leaving the military.
